As medical professionals have pointed out, the uncertainty and concern can have damaging psychological effects on the community. Now, more than ever, it is a time for measured and considered communications with your stakeholders.

How organisations respond during these times is a testament to how they can guide you through any crisis. Importantly staff, members, volunteers and supporters will be looking for strong, considered and solution based leadership.
Who do you want on your side? A considered organisation in control of their responses or an organisation buying into hype?
And what type of organisation will you be?
